We make it fun!

Modern educational teaching techniques and software make learning
interactive, relevant and fun, and help children achieve and enjoy excellence.

• Inspired by the Harvard SoCal Educational Roundtable, a project that turned some of the U.S’ worst students and schools into some of the best, in which Shine’s co-founder, Dr. John Purcell, has been a constant presence for decades.

“A nurtured lust for learning”

• Classes of no more than 15 to 20 students.
• Student-led creative projects.
• Equal weighting of science, academia , sports and the arts.

Proficiency Based Learning!

• Proficiency-based learning software records kids’ interests and measures their ability in each topic, as well as other useful life skills, like communication, imagination, logic , numeracy, literacy, and attention span.
• Teachers tailor school-work to students’ abilities and interests.
• Students are not grouped by age, but by ability.
• They progress by topic, rather than by class, so they aren’t held back by their weakest subject.

SPIRITUAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TOOLS FOR SUCCESS

• On-site psychologist.
• Meditation, mindfulness, yoga, QiGong, NLP ( Neuro Linguistic Programming), positive visualization techniques.

Our students are better prepared for the career of their choice gaining priceless real life experience in professional apprenticeships:

• Optional part time professional apprenticeships from Age 7.
• Mandatory part time professional apprenticeships from age 13.
